We keep it safe and ordinary with a pre-anaesthetic check and bloodwork, intravenous fluids, monitoring throughout and pain relief to go home with.
In the one visit we scale and polish, take dental X-rays, lift any tooth that cannot be saved and carry out minor oral surgery. Where a mouth needs advanced work such as a root canal, we refer to a veterinary dental specialist.

Consults are an unhurried 30 minutes, in separate dog and cat rooms, which matters when a mouth needs a careful look. For a dental, the people who already know your pet are the ones cleaning its teeth.
