For most things, yes, and that is the benefit of visiting our dedicated animal hospital in Bexley. Bring a puppy or kitten in for their first vaccinations and puppy preschool, a senior dog for a wellness check, or a pet that is limping, scratching or off its food, and the people who examine it can also investigate it and treat it.
On site that means health checks and consultations, vaccinations, and in-clinic diagnostics: digital X-ray, ultrasound and heart scans, with imaging done while you wait rather than booked elsewhere. We also perform vet dentistry near Allawah, as well as desexing, and general and orthopaedic surgery, with head vet Dr Robert Kay carrying out advanced procedures such as TPLO cruciate ligament repair. Gentle Handling for a Pet That Hates the Vet
Fear Free shapes every appointment. We work at the animal’s pace, use patient handling, and reach for calming medication when a pet genuinely needs help to relax. Standard consultations run a full 30 minutes, which gives a frightened animal time to settle and gives you time to raise everything on your mind. Dogs and cats also have separate, dedicated consult rooms, so a nervous cat is not waiting nose to nose with a bouncing dog.

We are open 7 days, with extended weekday hours so a visit fits around work and school. The clinic runs Monday to Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm, and closes on public holidays. On cost, we keep our pricing accessible on purpose, and if your pet is insured we work directly with most pet insurers and bill them for you, so for treatment and surgery you pay only the gap rather than the full amount upfront.
